A HUGE well done to Claire Noon who has this week qualified as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner and gained the qualification of Level 3 Early Years Educator!
A lot of time, dedication and hard work goes into completing this qualification and we are so proud of her!
Well Done Claire!
A big well done to Becky Haywood our nursery practitioner who has recently been awarded her Level 3 Diploma. Becky is now a Level 3 Early Years Educator! Well Done!
Bambini have been granted a small pot of money to go towards some additional training for staff here at Bambini. This will enable them to gain further skills in communication and language and child interactions. This will then impact on your child's development in a positive way. New skills for the staff means new skills being taught to the children!
We raised a fantastic £527.40 from our Christmas Party and Santa letter fundraising events! This will be going back into resources for the children and a revamp in our bathrooms!
A big thank you to all parents who baked or bought cakes for us for our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning last week. We have raised £40.00 for the great cause.
Thank You
'Where's my teacher gone?'
You may notice that from next week, on some days your child's key worker is not with the other staff at collection and drop off times.
This is because it is important to us that practitioners with children under the age of 11 have the opportunity to take their child to school 1 day per week.
On this day, they will arrive at Nursery slightly later or leave slightly earlier. Do not worry! We have excellent staff to support the children when they arrive or when they are going home and to feedback any messages you give or messages from your child's key worker to get the day off to a great start!
It is sometimes easy to forget that our Practitioners have families too and we are sure that you will agree that this is a small change that will make a big difference to them being able to do the school run with their child one day per week!
Thank You
Over February Half Term we commissioned 'The Bearded Gardener' to complete some work for us and create us our very own allotment area in the garden.
The space has been made to allow us to plant fruits, vegetables and herbs for the children to bring back into the setting to prepare and eat for snack.
We shall be spending the following months learning about what we need for the items to grow and how we grow!
We will be planting lots of exciting things so please keep your eyes peeled! We have also started working with a local allotment and will be arranging some exciting visits to see them in due course.
If any parents or Grandparents would like to offer any help towards our allotment, please feel free to speak to Anna or Sian.
